The Salts of the Earth screening

We had a wonderful meeting on Paulo Freire's book Pedagogy of the Oppressed yesterday with the RAD Book Club. To continue our discussion on "Who are the Oppressed?", we will have a screening of the documentary The Salts of the Earth on Thursday June 11th from 7:30 PM onwards. We will be meeting at Yonge & Bloor (it's a private address, so email us for a specific location).

The movie is about the work of the Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado who documented in detail the lives of Brazilian campesinos, natives and other minorities. Mark your calendars!
